I had a fall in November and broke my thumb. It's still not mended, hurts like **** and is causing extreme problems.
However, new year tomorrow and very soon a new start.
Stay tuned!
Happy New Year!
To a joyful, peaceful and successful 2011.

Autumn
Homework this week is centered around autumn or fall, whichever name you have the season before winter. I think you can be creative this one. I'm envisaging a mini project, a display, booklet, PP presentation, poem, creative writing... basically something to show what you think about and know about autumn.
It's a time to have some fun, be creative and really display your talents.
Whatever you decide to do and however you decide to present it you have one week. Assignments are due in next Monday.
I'll be posting some autumn/fall math problems over the next couple of days so don't forget to check back;-D
Aim for the stars!

PS If you are looking for gorgeous displays or calendar packs plus some wonderful word walls, word mats/banks and more all around an autumn/fall theme then don't forget to sign up for the My Personal Tutor newsletter and to join My Personal Tutor. Both are free and they come with some fabulous fall resources;-D

Finally! My Personal Tutor is OPEN:-D
After hours, days, weeks and months of hard work, long hours and lots of effort I have finally managed to get My Personal Tutor online. The front end accessible to the entire world is up and ready for visitors. To decrease the risk of spam, content copying etc I decided that all the really really good things (articles, forums, giveaways, free resources etc) would be on an offshoot member's only site. Membership is free, simple and easy to accomplish and until 31st October, 2010 comes with access to over £49.99 worth of free MPT resources.
I will be uploading the membership site later today and homework will resume next week;-D
Oh and if you're interested in bargain used resources (some are actually new they just sat in a cupboard for a long time being hoarded) then My Personal Tutor is now listing on Ebay. I'm not actually making a profit yet as I forgot to factor in all the selling costs and the real postage costs but I'm learning fast.
